When Do The Black Friday Synth Deals Start?
Black Friday Synth deals begin on the 1st of November, starting with many plugins going on sale, and lasting until January 2023. During this period there will be fewer deals until around the 17th of November. This is when the main event begins to ramp up and you can expect some great savings on plugins and hardware.
Cyber Monday will begin right after the Black Friday period around the 28th – 30th. After this, Black Friday deals will continue on and then the Christmas plugin deals will start.
Finally, the January sales will begin and last for the entire month of January.
Many of the deals last until 2023 until the 31st of January. After that, there will be sales all year round, but these are less frequent and the savings are usually much less than what you can get through the holiday season.
Do Hardware Synths Go On Sale?
Hardware synths go on very small sales, but, Black Friday synth deals are generally hard to find for hardware synths specifically. Due to their popularity and physical nature, you won't see many savings on hardware synths.
To make the most of Black Friday, you'll want to check out some of the Synth plugin savings.
Because these are software, and generally have no build costs, manufacturers can cut the price of plugins much more than they can hardware. Additionally a lot of synth plugins are pretty much 99% of the way there with re-creating the organic hardware sounds you're looking for.
They're still not quite there and hardware definitely sounds better (and is a lot more fun to use), but if you're looking to spread your budget, we'd advise getting plugins.
